Cooperation between higher education institutions of Kyrgyzstan and Great Britain was discussed at the Education Ministry of Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the ministry reported.
The Deputy Minister of Education and Science Bekzhan Supanaliev met with the head of the Division for Interaction with Wales of the British Department for Business and Trade Dan Walsh.
The parties discussed issues of developing cooperation between universities of the two countries.
The Deputy Minister said that the ministry was interested in developing cooperation with partner states, and suggested considering the possibility of organizing student exchanges, a professional development program for civil servants and language courses for teachers.
Dan Walsh responded that he would take these proposals into account and noted the British side’s interest in developing the partnership.
