Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Gulnara Baatyrova took part in the opening ceremony of the new building of a polyclinic of the Center for General Medical Practice in Uzgen district of Osh region. The press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The minister noted that at the expense of the saved funds, the management of Uzgen Center for General Medical Practice managed to build a modern polyclinic building that meets all sanitary standards and requirements. Now medical workers will be able to provide affordable and high-quality medical services and fully meet the requirements of the population of Uzgen district.
A new computed tomography (CT) scanner will be installed there in November as part of a PPP project, and a digital X-ray machine will be installed in the coming days. In addition, the Center for General Medical Practice previously purchased the latest medical equipment at its own expense, including a modern ultrasound machine, an echocardiograph and an endoscope.
«About 130,000 residents of Uzgen district are our patients. With the commissioning of the new building, we will be able to provide high-quality medical care to the population and help improve the health of citizens. We will make everything possible to provide our patients with comfortable conditions when visiting our center,» said Bermet Mamasadykova, Director of the Uzgen Center for General Medical Practice.
