Speaker of Parliament hands 200,000 soms to authors of Tilimpoz project

Speaker of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Nurlanbek Shakiev met with the authors of Tilimpoz project aimed at developing and spread of the state language. Press service of the Parliament reported.

The young people headed by Tilek Nurdinov, Nurzhigit Asanov and Muslim Taalaibek uulu tell through social media about the rules for using the Kyrgyz language and share translations of popular words.

The Speaker Nurlanbek Shakiev highly appreciated the initiative of the youth.

«Language is the soul of a nation. The loss of language means the loss of national identity. In the era of globalization, it is especially important to preserve our native language in order to develop as an independent country. The efforts that young people are making to promote the state language deserve support,» he said.

Speaker Nurlanbek Shakiev also reminded about the recently adopted Constitutional Law on the State Language of the Kyrgyz Republic and stressed that projects like Tilimpoz are of great importance for the successful implementation of this law.

At the end of the meeting, the Speaker presented the activists with a certificate for 200,000 soms and promised to continue to provide comprehensive support.
