Suspects in mobile phone and money thefts on Issyk-Kul beaches detained

Police detained suspects in the theft of mobile phones and money on the beaches of Cholpon-Ata and Bosteri. Press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Issyk-Kul region reported.

They are previously convicted residents of Bishkek, three 20-year-old men, and a 23-year-old resident of Chui region. Three of them were placed under house arrest, one was detained for two months for the period of investigative measures.

The detainees were charged with eight counts of theft of other people’s property. Material damage reached more than 310,000 soms. The investigation is ongoing.
