A citizen of Kyrgyzstan was detained in Astana. He hid from criminal prosecution for 13 years. The police department of Kazakhstan reports.
In October 2008, the man, abusing trust, took possession of mobile phones. In 2010, the Department of Internal Affairs of Sverdlovsky district of Bishkek put the suspect on the interstate wanted list. He was found only 13 years later.
The Kyrgyzstani was placed in a temporary detention facility of the Astana Police Department. The issue of his extradition to Kyrgyzstan is being considered.
