Elections of deputies to the local council will be held in Saruu in October. The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan (CEC) recalls that in order for the campaign to be transparent and legal, it is necessary to strictly comply with the requirements of the electoral legislation, and show mutual respect and tolerance in interaction with other participants of the electoral process.
It is noted that the state has created all conditions for candidates and voters. «We expect that candidates and voters will show high civic responsibility, voters will actively take part in voting, candidates will not commit illegal actions — bribery of voters, use of administrative resources,» the statement says.
The election commission added that by the presidential decree the CEC was recommended to consider the possibility of testing the remote voting in a pilot mode.
The elections in Saruu are scheduled for October 8.
