Kyrgyzstan received $2.26 million as gratuitous aid from the government of Japan. Deputy Finance Minister Ruslan Tatikov reported on Facebook.
A grant agreement was signed with JICA representative in Kyrgyzstan Kawamoto Hiroyuki as part of theHuman Resource Development scholarships. In addition, exchange notes were signed with the Ambassador of Japan Hideki Goda.
«The funds will be used to train personnel and develop bilateral relations between the states. I would like to note that I am an alumnus of this program. It will provide an opportunity for our civil servants to gain knowledge, experience, get acquainted with the customs and traditions of the Japanese people and use the experience gained to develop the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic,» Ruslan Tatikov said.
