The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov visited the industrial and logistics park EuroAsia GROUP under construction in Kara-Suu district. Press service of the head of state reported.
The area of the object is five hectares. The territory was allocated by the state on a competitive basis to support domestic investors and develop production in the regions. According to the project, three production sites will operate there: factories for making clothes from knitwear, for the production of knitted fabric and for the production of yarn.
To date, construction of the industrial and logistics park has been completed by 70 percent.
A ready-to-wear garment factory with 800 jobs and a production capacity of 2.1 million garments per year is expected to be launched at the end of the year. The project is estimated at $2.6 million. The products of the garment factory will be mainly export-oriented.
Launch of the factory for the production of knitted fabric is scheduled for the end of the first quarter of 2024. The enterprise will provide 300 jobs and will produce up to 20 tons of fabric daily. The amount of investment in the project is $18 million.
A spinning mill with a production capacity of up to 15 tons of thread per day will start operating in the third quarter of 2025. It will employ about 150 people. Investment in the project is $3.5 million.
Sadyr Japarov stressed that the state will always support conscientious entrepreneurs and will continue to create favorable conditions for investors, including domestic ones. Special attention will be paid to regional production. Local authorities were instructed to consider the issue of allocation of an additional land plot for the production needs of the factory.
