A regular meeting of the Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan Taalaibek Ibraev with representatives of the Senior Development and Investment Manager of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC — Masdar (UAE) Mohamed Asad Taher and Development and Investment Manager Dias Kamaliev took place. Press service of the Ministry of Energy reported.
The main purpose of the meeting of the parties was to study the implementation of the project for the construction of a solar power plant with a capacity of 200 megawatts. Survey work on the placement of the solar station on land plots in Issyk-Kul, Jalal-Abad and Naryn regions is being carried out.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to send Arab specialists to Kyrgyzstan in mid-May.
They will study the technical parameters of the project.
Under the contract, Masdar conducts research for four months. Implementation of the agreement on the construction of the station will begin in June. It is planned that it will be put into operation in 2025.
