Ayu distillery will be nationalized. The President of Kyrgyzstan said in another interview.
According to Sadyr Japarov, the company did not pay taxes and smuggled alcohol.
«We had been turning a blind eye to it for 2.5 years. They were asked to work honestly, not to hide profit, not to engage in forgery of excise stamps. We said that the old days when, having paid into the pocket of the authorities, it was possible to engage in smuggling, have passed. We personally do not need money, we must replenish the budget. They didn’t listen. Instead of paying millions in taxes, they, as before, forged excise stamps and got caught with 12,000 forged ones. 275 tons of smuggled alcohol were detained, the cost of which is more than 40 million soms. Now both the distillery and the vodka plant have been confiscated in accordance with the law. They will be transferred to the state. Now both alcohol and vodka will be produced by the state,» Sadyr Japarov said.
