The ex-director of Tazalyk municipal enterprise, Ryspek Sarpashev, was placed under house arrest by the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek. The court confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
Investigators of the State Committee for National Security filed a motion to change the preventive measure. Ryspek Sarpashev will remain under house arrest until April 9.
Recall, the State Committee for National Security detained Ryspek Sarpashev on March 24. A criminal case was initiated against him on the facts of misappropriation and embezzlement of entrusted property, as well as abuse of official position.
It was found out that Ryspek Sarpashev, being the director of the municipal enterprise, in 2017-2018, for the purpose of personal enrichment, entered into a preliminary criminal conspiracy with individual employees of Tazalyk, abusing his official position, unreasonably wrote off auto parts, fuel and lubricants for non-working special equipment (garbage trucks, dump trucks, trucks).
Ryspek Sarpashev was the director of Tazalyk several times. He headed the company from 2010 to 2012 and from 2014 to 2018. From August 2018 to October 2019, he worked as Vice Mayor of Bishkek. In 2019, he became the head of Tazalyk again and worked in the position until 2021.
