Administrator of BespredelKG, Aftandil Zhorobekov, was interrogated by the Investigation Service of the Internal Affairs Department of Oktyabrsky district of Bishkek. He announced it on social media.
According to the blogger, he was called as a witness. After the interrogation, he signed a non-disclosure agreement on the case.
«The state is not the property of two friends. They are mistaken if they think that only they will tell the truth, and the rest will be shut up. If after they put me in jail the country develops and prices are low, then let them arrest me. I don’t regret a single post. There will be posts both at large and in prison,» he said.
Aftandil Zhorobekov was detained on November 24, 2019, the court sanctioned his arrest for two months. The blogger was charged with inciting inter-regional hatred. Two weeks later he was placed under house arrest. The criminal case against him was closed on May 27, 2020.
