Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
«Real practical steps are being taken in Kyrgyzstan to improve the investment climate. The recently held Central Asian IT Forum has become significant both in terms of geographical scope and the significance of achievements and topics raised for cooperation in the IT field. We are open to all investors, both internal and external ones,» the head of the Cabinet said.
In turn, Director of the JETRO Department Tomohiro Tsuchiya noted that after a meeting with the head of the Cabinet, which took place as part of a working trip to Japan on November 28-30, 2022, investment opportunities in Kyrgyzstan were presented to Japanese companies.
«The interest of Japanese companies in the Kyrgyz Republic is growing. Now we need to fill the interest with concrete proposals of mutual interest,» Tomohiro Tsuchiya said.
