CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov will visit Bishkek on Thursday. According to the organization’s Telegram channel, the visit was organized for a meeting with the top political and military leadership of Kyrgyzstan.
«The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov will visit the Kyrgyz Republic on March 9-10,» the statement says.
During the visit, meetings are planned with the President Sadyr Japarov, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev, Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Imankulov, as well as Minister of Defense Baktybek Bekbolotov and the leadership of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security.
This is the first visit of Imangali Tasmagambetov to Bishkek as CSTO Secretary General.
