President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov met with Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary László Kövér in Budapest. Press service of the head of state reported.
The parties exchanged views on topical issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as on the bilateral, regional and international agenda. László Kövér stressed that the friendly visit of Sadyr Japarov would give a new, strong impetus to the development of interaction between the fraternal peoples.
He also noted significant achievements in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other areas of cooperation, at the same time adding that there was significant potential for the development and strengthening of relations.
Sadyr Japarov, in turn, noted the high level of cooperation between the countries that have established warm, friendly relations and maintain regular contacts at all levels. He stressed that Hungary is a brotherly country for Kyrgyzstan. After all, it has become the first country of the European Union with which the republic has established a strategic partnership.
As the head of state noted, over the years of cooperation, the countries have come a long and fruitful path. But there is still significant potential for further development and strengthening of the strategic partnership.
Sadyr Japarov invited László Kövér to visit Kyrgyzstan.
