The second Tourism Forum was held in Naryn region of Kyrgyzstan. The Tourism Development Support Fund reported.
The President of the Fund, Elena Kalashnikova, called on the participants to be more actively involved in new projects and offer their ideas for the development of tourist places in Naryn region.
According to her, work is already underway on several joint projects. This includes the creation of a register of sights in the region, and the construction of various tourist facilities: glampings, RestPoint tourist points, and the arrangement of eco-trails. In addition, Naryn has joint projects with the tourist destination Karakol, which the Fund supports.
«Following the results of the forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Fund and the office of the Presidential Envoy to Naryn region. It provides for joint work to increase the flow of tourists to the region, financing tourist facilities and attracting investment in the tourism sector, conducting PR campaigns among local residents to promote entrepreneurship in the tourism sector, and creating new jobs,» the statement says.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was also signed with Naryn Tourism Association. Among other things, it provides for joint work on educational activities for local guides.
