A number of schools have switched to online learning, some kindergartens have been closed in Jalal-Abad, Talas and Chui regions of Kyrgyzstan since January 17. Press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.
This was done in connection with the sanitary order issued by the sanitary and epidemiological surveillance authorities. Public schools in Jalal-Abad, Kok-Zhangak, six educational institutions in Tash-Kumyr, one school and two buildings of another educational institution in Bakai-Ata district of Talas region, 11 schools in Zhaiyl district of Chui region have switched to online classes.
In addition, two kindergartens were closed in Kara-Kul, three — in Tash-Kumyr, one — in Bakai-Ata district, and five — in Zhaiyl district.
Recall, due to the cold weather, all schools in At-Bashi district of Naryn region switched to online learning, and schoolchildren learn online in Mailuu-Suu due to the emergency situation in the town.
