Nadira Narmatova, a member of the pro-government Ata Zhurt Kyrgyzstan faction, was awarded the title of Honored Civil Service Worker. The certificate of appreciation was presented by the President Sadyr Japarov.
Recall, on November 21, Nadira Narmatova submitted for public discussion amendments to the laws on Non-Commercial Organizations, on State Registration of Legal Entities, Branches (Representative Offices) and the Criminal Code, avoiding open discussion.
International and domestic human rights activists, lawyers and experts have criticized these initiatives, calling them radical. The OSCE/ODIHR called on the author to withdraw the proposed amendments.
Together with Nadira Narmatova, her party member Kamila Taliyeva was also awarded.
Another deputy, Cholpon Sultanbekova, from Ishenim faction received the Dank Order.
