Movement of traffic along the main streets of Bishkek will be temporarily restricted on November 24-27. The Department of the Patrol Police Service reported.
According to it, the reason is the People’s Kurultai, which will be held at the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic Hall.
Movement will be restricted only for the duration of the journey of the kurultai participants, who arrive from all regions of the country.
Traffic restrictions will be introduced on the following streets:
- Manas/Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue from Zhibek Zholu Avenue to the Southern Highway;
- Zhibek Zholu Avenue from Fuchik Street to Lermontov Street;
- Abdrakhmanov Street from Zhibek Zholu Avenue to the Southern Highway.
The first People’s Kurultai will be held in Kyrgyzstan on November 25. It is expected that 1,074 delegates will take part in it. The organizing committee approved the agenda, the draft regulations and the emblem of the Kurultai. President Sadyr Japarov plans to make a speech at the Kurultai.
