President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, together with the heads of countries and delegations, who arrived to participate in the summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Samarkand (Uzbekistan), took part in planting of trees.
The event took place within the framework of «Yashil Makon» nationwide project, implemented in Uzbekistan on the initiative of the country’s leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Its goal is to improve the ecological situation and air purity in the center and districts of cities and regions of the republic.
The event took place in the format of a teleconference between Uzbekistan and the OTS member states.
Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov, Mayor of Bishkek Emilbek Abdykadyrov, and Ambassadors of the Turkic countries to the Kyrgyz Republic took part in tree planting in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
