Some 540 bodies of compatriots were delivered to Kyrgyzstan as cargo 200 in 2021. The Deputy Foreign Minister Aziz Madmarov said at a meeting of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration of the Parliament.
According to him, 45,270 million soms were allocated from the budget for organization and delivery of cargo 200 to the country.
«At least 258 bodies have been delivered to the homeland since January 2022, 25 million soms have been paid,» Aziz Madmarov added.
According to the Deputy Head of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov, 1,118 million citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are labor migrants, most of them work in Russia.
