Two employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan were killed in a traffic accident near Chechme checkpoint. Press service of the ministry reported.
According to it, the low bed truck that rammed into the cars standing near the Chechme checkpoint belongs to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
«Our employees were traveling from Osh to Bozhoi village. They were transporting a loader to clear the water canal after heavy rains,» the ministry said.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as a result of the accident, eight people were killed, including two employees of the ministry, and seven more people were injured. Causes of the accident are being investigated.
The accident happened at 3.50 p.m. on May 21. The Shacman low bed truck rammed through cars parked near the checkpoint.
