At least 247 crimes involving foreigners have been registered in Kyrgyzstan in 2021. Three murders are among them. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Oktyabr Urmambetov announced at a meeting of Ata Zhurt Kyrgyzstan faction.
The faction discussed preparations for the summer tourist season.
Deputy Taalaibek Sarybashov asked how many crimes involving foreigners were registered.
«At least 247 crimes involving foreigners were registered last year. At least 230 of them were solved. These are three murders, two rapes, one illegal imprisonment, 32 kidnappings, 7 robberies, 128 cases of fraud,» Oktyabr Urmambetov told.
Deputy asked the Interior Ministry to ensure safety of tourists arriving in Kyrgyzstan.
