Interior Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ulan Niyazbekov met with the Vice President of Turkey Fuat Oktay. Press service of the ministry reported.
The parties discussed ways to further strengthen economic, political and cultural cooperation between the two countries. They also touched upon the topic of preparations for the upcoming meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, which will be held in 2022 under the chairmanship of the presidents of the two countries.
During the meeting, issues related to prevention of the activities of supporters of the terrorist organization FETO in Kyrgyzstan were also discussed. The parties considered opportunities for the exchange of experience between the security forces of Turkey and Kyrgyzstan.
