The Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Germany Omurbek Tekebayev met with the head of the International Department of the Federal Employment Agency of Germany Markus Bircher, Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany reports.
The parties discussed prospects of employment of Kyrgyzstanis in the Federal Republic of Germany. Omurbek Tekebayev told about the system of higher and vocational education, labor market in Kyrgyzstan and interest of citizens of Kyrgyzstan in employment in Germany.
To date, about 12 private companies in Kyrgyzstan are involved in sending specialists to Germany in different directions. Omurbek Tekebayev proposed to conclude a bilateral agreement on organized employment.
Markus Bircher said that due to the demographic crisis and lack of young people in Germany the Federal Employment Agency of Germany is interested in attracting motivated and qualified workers from abroad, including the Kyrgyz Republic. He added that the most demanded jobs in the labor market of Germany are tourism, hospitality, logistics, crafts and construction.
In this case, the main conditions for employment in Germany are knowledge of the German language at the appropriate level and the availability of a diploma of professional qualification.
As a result of the meeting, it was agreed to coordinate and sign in the near future a memorandum of intent between the Kyrgyz and German sides, which will reflect the specific steps to prepare and organize employment of Kyrgyz specialists in Germany.
