The prosecutor’s office helped 10 orphans to get land plots in Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. Nurkamal Nabiev, the head of the supervisory body in the region, told 24.kg news agency.
He claims that, according to the law, children under the age of 16 left without parental care, as well as orphans receive real estate out of turn.
«According to the law, orphans should receive real estate out of turn. However, the law is not enforced everywhere. We conducted a check, submitted acts of prosecutor’s response to the State Registration Service, head of the district and Cadastre state institution. To date, 10 orphans from different villages have received the land plots. All the documents for real estate were drawn up free of charge. The children were invited to the prosecutor’s office and were handed all the documents,» Nurkamal Nabiev told.
