At least 1,534.4 billion soms were allocated from the republican budget to provide farmers with highly productive seeds of agricultural crops for variety changing and renovation. The Ministry of Finance reported.
These funds will be used to purchase seeds of grain and spiked crops, oilseeds and leguminous crops, sainfoin and cotton. The State Material Reserves Fund was entrusted with delivery of the seeds from Russia.
"Seeds will be allocated by Aiyl Bank OJSC in the form of a soft loan at 4.5 percent per annum to seed farms and farmers. For the timely delivery of the seeds to farmers, instructions were given to the Ministry of Agriculture and presidential envoys to the regions.
