Retail prices for coal in January on average in the republic reached 5,178 soms per ton and decreased by almost 1 percent compared to December last year. The National Statistical Committee provided such data.
The lowest price of coal is in Chaek village (3,000 soms per ton), Balykchy (3,950 soms) and Naryn (4,400 soms). At the same time, the highest prices were registered in Kara-Suu (7,000 soms per ton), Batken and Nookat (7,230 soms).
«A decrease in retail prices for coal was registered in most of the settlements. Most of all, the cost of coal decreased in Nookat (by 530.8 soms), Kerben (by 510.5 soms) and Toktogul (by 88.8 soms),» the statement says.
