A part of Chui Avenue — from Orozbekov Street to Erkindik Boulevard — will be closed for traffic in Bishkek because of the concert on Ala-Too square. The Department of the Patrol Police Service of the capital reported.
The Old Square — a section of Abdymomunov Street from Orozbekov to Erkindik Boulevard — will also be closed.
The Department of the Patrol Police Service appeals to all citizens and guests of the city with a request to take all the measures on ensuring public safety with understanding.
«To avoid traffic jams, we urge drivers to choose alternative routes in advance, and we ask all road users to strictly observe traffic rules, the requirements and instructions of the service employees,» the statement says.
The main festive New Year’s Eve event in Bishkek will begin today at 7 p.m. on the central Ala-Too square.
