The main festive New Year’s Eve event in Bishkek will begin on December 31 at 7 p.m. on the central Ala-Too square. Press service of the capital’s City Hall reported.
The head of the City Hall Aibek Dzhunushaliev held a final meeting with the heads of structural divisions and city services on Wednesday on the readiness for celebration of the New Year on the night of December 31 to January 1.
The Vice Mayor for Social Affairs Victoria Mozgacheva announced that a concert with the participation of Kyrgyz pop stars will take place on the square.
For the safety of spectators, Aibek Dzhunushaliev ordered to take control of the illegal street trading on the territory of the square.
Buses and trolleybuses, as well as minibuses will work until 01.00 a.m. for the convenience of city residents.
