An electronic form for registration of the data of all persons arriving in the Kyrgyz Republic will be introduced one of these days. It was announced at a meeting of the operational headquarters for combatting COVID-19. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
Participants of the meeting considered the current epidemiological situation, and also discussed issues of vaccination of citizens. According to the Ministry of Health, the epidemiological situation in the country is stable.
In addition, the headquarters members discussed the spread of Omicron strain. Edil Baisalov noted that the Cabinet is against closure of state borders, and therefore it is necessary to step up measures to prevent the import of the new strain of COVID-19.
So, in the coming days, an electronic form for registration of the data of all persons arriving in the republic will be introduced.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health was instructed to consider the issue of reducing the time for PCR testing for those crossing the state border from 72 hours to 48 hours before arrival.
