Sadyr Japarov reminds of responsibility for corruption in land distribution

It is necessary to resolve the issue of bringing to justice all persons involved in corruption, regardless of the position held. The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said at the first meeting of the Anti-Corruption Business Council.

He noted that the law on land transformation was signed and instructed to complete the inventory of land plots and the final register of all categories of land.

«Mineral resources, land, water, pastures are the wealth of the people. There are a lot of problems with the transformation of land when it becomes the subject of fraudulent sale and purchase. The state needs to think about the food program, about tomorrow — where, on what land we will sow grain, potatoes and other food products. It is necessary to take into account the lessons of the previous transformations and not repeat the same mistakes during the next one. A particularly big problem with the transformation of the land is around Bishkek, many corruption schemes are revealed. It is necessary to resolve the issue of bringing to criminal responsibility all persons involved in corruption, regardless of the position held,» the head of state said.
