Kyrgyzstani Denis Petrashov won a silver medal at the Belarus Open Swimming Championship. Swimming Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The tournament takes place in Brest. About 300 athletes from Belarus, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Kyrgyz Republic, Latvia, Moldova and Russia participate in it.
Kyrgyz athletes won three medals on the first day of the tournament. Denis Petrashov took the 2nd place at a distance of 100 meters breaststroke with 1 minute 1.89 seconds. Cyril Weiss took the third place with 1 minute 3.74 seconds at the same distance. Elizaveta Rogozhnikova covered 400 meters distance for 5 minutes 5.60 seconds and became the third.
