Presidents of Central Asia are asked to solve border problems

Presidents and Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are asked to resolve crisis situations on the borders with Kyrgyzstan. An open letter of the Chairman of the Association of Domestic Manufacturers Bakyt Degenbaev says.

He notes that citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are very concerned about the crisis situations that have arisen and continue on the adjacent borders with Tajikistan in Batken region and Kazakhstan in Chui region. All these situations cause irreparable damage to the relative relations of countries and their economies.

«Yes, our states are different, but we all are in the same boat. We live in a very fragile world, in which fire and confusion flared up more than once. Instead of border crises and parochial egoism, we, on the contrary, should strive to develop a common market, making each other richer. There are a lot of us. Today we have up to 75 million people, huge natural resources, actively developing small and medium businesses,» Bakyt Degenbaev stressed.

He is confident that the more countries will become friends, protect each other, develop a common market, the more investments will come to each country.

«Dear presidents and prime ministers of our fraternal states, I urge you to influence crisis situations on our borders and take all possible measures to maximally resolve all misunderstandings and to avoid such situations in the future,» the head of the Association of Domestic Manufacturers says.
