Sooronbai Jeenbekov awards ex-ambassador of Russia to Kyrgyzstan with Dank medal

The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov awarded the former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Kyrgyzstan Andrei Krutko with Dank medal. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.

According to him, the head of state received Andrei Krutko on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country.

Sooronbai Jeenbekov thanked Andrei Krutko for his contribution to the development of Kyrgyz-Russian relations, his great work in promoting significant projects in Kyrgyzstan, including in the social, economic, educational, military-technical fields and awarded him with Dank medal for his significant contribution to strengthening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

«During your work in Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyz-Russian relations have reached a new level of cooperation. You are a close friend and honored guest for our country,» noted Sooronbai Jeenbekov and wished further success in his work.

Andrei Krutko expressed his gratitude for the state award and warm words. He noted that the years of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan were very productive.

«We have managed to solve a number of major problems, including the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the EEU. Directly with you, we optimized the activities of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, ensured the development of cooperation in all areas. A lot has been done to improve the conditions for the stay of Kyrgyz migrants in Russia — they are no longer labor migrants, but full-fledged employees of the EEU,» Andrei Krutko stressed.

President Sooronbai Jeenbekov and Ambassador Andrei Krutko also exchanged views on the upcoming state visit of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan.
