The Aravan District Court convicted a 24-year-old man under the article: Intentional infliction of light injury to health.
The court’s verdict states that the man beat his wife and she was taken to hospital.
«According to investigators, in the course of a verbal altercation at home, the man began to beat his wife in the face, and then to kick her in the stomach. Thus, he caused her light bodily harm. During the trial, the defendant partially pleaded guilty. He said that only hit his spouse in the face, but did not kick. According to the man, his wife slandered him,» verdict of the court says.
As a result, the court fined him 2,000 soms.
