Two-year-old twins from Aravan district, who were beaten by their mother, were handed over to their father. The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration reported.
The ministry noted that a video of the beating of the girls was sent out on social media on November 6.
«After the fact of violence was made public, employees of the Aravan Department of Labor, Social Security and Migration took the children from their mother and placed them in a hospital, where they were provided with full care,» the ministry noted.
The children’s mother was arrested and a criminal case was opened against her.
«Since the girls’ parents were not married, the Aravan Department of Labor, Social Security and Migration carried out the procedures necessary to confirm paternity. The children have been handed over to their father, who returned from Russia, where he was working,» the ministry concluded.
