The Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziyev took part in the opening ceremony of a secondary school named after Zhakishev in Uch-Emchek village, Issyk-Ata district, Chui region. The government’s press service reported.
It was decided to build a new school after a mudflow in 2017.
The prime minister stressed that the government paid special attention to the education sphere, directing almost a fifth of the budget to it.
«Only in September 2018, about 30 new schools opened their doors in the country. By the end of the year, we will commission over 150 objects of education, culture and sports. We are trying to improve the material and technical base of our schools and solve the problems of equipping them with the Internet even in the most remote areas of the country,» he said.
The head of government focused on improving the quality of school education.
«Every parent wants his child to go to a strong qualified teacher who is able to give good knowledge. That is why we set new criteria for assessing the work of teachers, so that they strive for self-improvement, master new modern teaching methods, try to give our children the necessary knowledge and skills, motivate them to be educated and successful,» said Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev.
The head of government handed the school a certificate for the purchase of equipment for a computer class, examined the school and talked to its schoolchildren and the staff.
