Citizen of Kyrgyzstan Denis Petrashov won a silver medal at the Youth Olympic Games held in Buenos Aires (Argentina).
He performed at a swimming tournament at a distance of 100 meters breaststroke and participated in three heats. In the preliminary heat, Denis Petrashov took the third place with a result 1 minute 2.82 seconds. In the semifinals, he was the second, covering the distance for 1 minute 1.95 seconds. In the final, he finished for 1 minute 1.34 seconds, losing 0.75 seconds to the champion.
Denis Petrashov is 18 years old. He is a repeat winner and record breaker of various prestigious tournaments. In 2016, he participated in the Olympic Games.
