MFA: Kylychbek Sultan repeatedly violated norms of diplomatic ethics

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea, Kylychbek Sultan, once again violated the norms and provisions of the legislation of Kyrgyzstan regulating the activities and rules of conduct of civil servants, as well as elementary norms of diplomatic ethics. Press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan about a press conference, which the ambassador gave yesterday, says.

Recall, yesterday Kylychbek Sultan spoke at a press conference, where he told about the facts of corruption in the Foreign Affairs Ministry. The diplomat noted that he tried to get an appointment with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sooronbai Jeenbekov, several times in order to report him personally, however he did not receive a response from the presidential administration.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry reports that it has information about certain violations by the ambassador himself.

«If these facts are confirmed, the information will be sent to the appropriate authorities. We do not exclude that exactly these violations spurred Kylychbek Sultan to such behavior,» the ministry said.

At the same time, the ministry is ready to render the relevant state bodies full and comprehensive assistance in studying the information voiced by Kylychbek Sultan.

Today it became known that the Foreign Affairs Minister Erlan Abdyldaev submitted a proposal to the president on the dismissal of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea Kylychbek Sultan.
