Travel companies are considering the issue of opening a direct bus route from Tashkent to Issyk-Kul. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan Komil Rashidov told today at a press conference.
According to him, the agreements of 2017, including the signing of a tourism agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, offer great opportunities. For example, the train Tashkent — Balykchi has already been launched. Since June 4, an additional flight Tashkent — Bishkek has been introduced. In the near future, Tashkent — Tamchi flights will be resumed. In addition, the bus routes Osh — Andijan and Osh — Fergana are being worked out.
«Uzbekistan provides ample opportunities for investors to participate in infrastructure projects, including tourism. We urge potential investors from Kyrgyzstan to invest more in tourism business,» said Komil Rashidov.
