Kyrgyzstan and China sign declaration on strategic partnership

Kyrgyzstan and China signed a declaration on strategic partnership. The document was signed within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sooronbai Jeenbekov, to the PRC.

In addition, nine more documents were signed:

Protocol on the amendments to the intergovernmental protocol on the construction and operation of China-Kyrgyzstan gas pipeline;

Memorandum on zone of external trade and economic cooperation between the Agency for the Protection and Promotion of Investments and the Ministry of Commerce of China;

Memorandum of understanding and cooperation of the State Personnel Service;

Protocol between the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China on phytosanitary requirements for products exported to China;

Exchange of letters between the governments on the implementation of the project for the supply of a mobile hospital for the Ministry of Emergency Situations;

Agreement on cooperation in the field of health care;

Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Main State Administration of Television and Radio Broadcasting of the PRC;

Memorandum on creation of requirements for a zone free from foot and mouth disease, where vaccination is practiced, between the General Customs Administration of the PRC and the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China on cooperation in the field of human resources and social security.

Kyrgyzstan and China planned to sign an agreement on mutual provision of land for the construction of embassy buildings, but procedural issues are not completed so far.
