Kyrgyzstan to take part in CSTO Indestructible Brotherhood 2018 exercises

The exercises on post-conflict settlement with the participation of the peacekeeping forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Indestructible Brotherhood 2018 will be held in October in Sverdlovsk Oblast. TASS reported with reference to the press service of the Central Military District of Russia.

«Staff talks of the CSTO armed forces on organization and preparation of joint exercises with CSTO peacekeeping forces and command staff exercises with CSTO Collective Air Forces Air Bridge 2018 started in Yekaterinburg. Under the plan for international military cooperation, the exercises will be held in October 2018 in Sverdlovsk Oblast,» the press service said.

During the talks, the representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan will discuss the idea of ​​the exercises, the composition of the leadership, the issues of comprehensive provision of troops and the composition of the military units involved.

In 2017, Indestructible Brotherhood exercises were held in Kazakhstan. About 1,500 servicemen, about 200 units of weapons, military and special equipment, and more than 25 aircrafts took part in it.
