Testing for knowledge of traffic rules under new requirements turned out to be a total failure. The State Registration Service the day before recorded an anti-record, when only nine out of 376 Kyrgyz citizens, who came to pass the exam, coped with the task.
As the press service of the SRS notes, the new rules for passing the traffic rules exam have been in effect since December 2017. Full automation of the process is used during testing, it takes place online. The SRS also introduced biometric identification at the exam for obtaining a driving license.
The exam takes 25 minutes. One needs to answer 20 questions. Those, who will answer correctly 18 questions, will pass the exam.
