The 1st International Festival of Turkic Cinema opened the day before in the capital of Tatarstan. Russian media reported.
The program of the festival includes the Kyrgyz film «Sayakbay» directed by Ernest Abdyzhaparov. The screening will take place today at 6.00 pm.
From March 21 to March 25, films from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Russia will be shown in Kazan. There will be no winners and awards at the festival. The main goal, according to world cinematographers, is full halls during screenings of the films.
It is planned that in April the festival will arrive in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
