At least 13 members of a religious movement Yakyn Inkar were detained in Kadamdzhay district of Kyrgyzstan. Police department for Batken region reported.
According to it, the detainees arrived from Naryn and Jalal-Abad regions for agitation of local residents to join their ranks and conducted illegal dawah.
A criminal case was opened. The detainees were placed in the pretrial detention center of Kadamdzhai police department.
The activity of the religious movement Yakyn Inkar in Kyrgyzstan is considered as extremist, it is also banned from conducting sermons.
