The inauguration of the president is over. Sooronbai Jeenbekov officially took up post of president of Kyrgyzstan.

The solemn ceremony took place today in the reception house Enesay of the State Residence Ala-Archa.

Sooronbai Jeenbekov swore an oath to the people of Kyrgyzstan, he was handed a certificate, a badge and the standard of the head of state.

Then he delivered an inaugural speech. Almazbek Atambayev made an appeal to the people of Kyrgyzstan and delivered a welcome speech to the elected president.

Then Sooronbai Jeenbekov and Almazbek Atambayev went to the Parliament building, where they were met by a guard of honor, and then to the office of the head of state.

450 people were invited to the inauguration ceremony, including Heroes of the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of the public, creative and scientific intelligentsia, deputies of the Parliament, members of the Government, diplomatic corps and representatives of international organizations.
