Number of candidates for presidential post reduces by four

The CEC refused to register 4 candidates for the presidency of the country who previously submitted their applications.

Marta Kydyralieva, Mukanbaizhan Aymanbaev and Kamil Toktobayev will not be able to participate in the presidential race. As the Central Election Commission explained, all three did not form an election fund in the term prescribed by law and did not submit the full package of documents.

Earlier, the President of the Fund for Support of the Policy of Turkish-speaking States Nusret Musa-Ogly Mamedov and pensioner Anvar Sartayev fell out of pre-election race.

Roman Remnev was also denied registration as a presidential candidate as he did not reach the necessary for election age," CEC added. He is 34 years old.

As of August 8, 2017, the number of candidates for the post of president of Kyrgyzstan is 52 people.
