According to the results of 2016, birth rate decreased and the number of divorces on the contrary increased in Kyrgyzstan. The State Registration Service reported.
In 2015, 164,837 children were born, and in 2016 — 159,584. At the same time, fewer marriages were registered for the period, but more spouses divorced.
However, during the year, there was observed a growth in adoption. So, 1,025 kids found new families in 2016 compared to only 869 in 2015.
