Kyrgyzstan has begun conducting DNA testing within the country. This was announced during a meeting between the President and residents of Nookat district.
The medical examinations will be conducted at facilities of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
Previously, such tests were performed abroad—in Russia and Kazakhstan.
It is noted that as early as last year, the possibility of conducting DNA testing within the country on a on a paid basis was under consideration.
